Class A Fire-Rated Pedestal Systems

We offer a range of Class A fire-rated pedestal systems from Buzon, providing reliable, adjustable support solutions for raised paving and decking installations where fire performance is a key consideration.

A-PED is the first non-combustible paving and decking pedestal from Buzon. Made from recycled aluminium and zinc-coated steel, the A-PED is Class A1 fire-rated and adjustable from 24mm to 395mm.

As the most advanced Class A1 fire-rated pedestal available on the market, it has an integrated slope corrector which allows up to 5% of millimetre-precise correction - features that make it compatible with both paving, decking and grating - and a large load spreader plate base that won’t compromise insulation or waterproof membrane. The ideal pedestal system for paving slabs, tiles and other natural surface finishes.

Our existing Buzon A-PED pedestal range is designed for use on balconies, roof terraces, podiums and other external flooring applications. Its adjustable design helps create level finished surfaces, accommodate drainage and provide accessible voids beneath paving and decking.

Coming soon: a new UK-manufactured Class A fire-rated pedestal. This exciting addition to our range will offer Channel Islands customers another option for projects where fire-rated support systems are required, with convenient local supply and support from our team.

Whether you are working on a residential balcony, a commercial terrace or a larger development, we can help you identify the most suitable pedestal system for your project.
